i had soluable stitches put in after i had my wisdom teeth taken out, you may feel tender for a while especially if the root was deep!.Remember to rinse out your mouth with warm salt water frequently during the day to keep the area clean and free of infection!. The stitches may feel tight due to your gum being swollen, if you're overly concerned about it, or it does'nt improve after a week then go back and see your dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

its normal mine felt too tight and i talked retardedly for a few days because of it!. I rip one out by accident while eating mcdonalds (shouldve been eating soft food oops)!. Did the dentist say you have to come back to remove them!? the dentist will call you back regardless just to see how the healing is, if youve had dry socket etc!. Dont worry i lost weight during those two weeks of healing and im on my 4th week, my gums are healed but its still a hole but with gums covering it so i use a eye dropper(couldnt find syringe) to rinse out the hole!. BUT DONT DO THAT UNTIL YOUR CHECK UP you could get dry socketWww@Answer-Health@Com

I am 6 days after myself and still have some pieces of stitching in my gums!. Even if they are disolveable they can take up to two weeks to fully work themselves out!.

I still have some pain as well!. Keep rinsing and using a hot pack which really helps!.

You could also be infected!. Do you have a foul taste and odor from your mouth!? If so, call your oral surgeon and get some antibiotics!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
