Not sure what those other answers are talking about, but it sounds like it is a Parulis, or basically, just what you said, a pimple on the gum!. Most of the time these pimples are associated with a tooth that is infected and the infection/bacteria have entered into the center of the tooth (called the pulp) which is where the nerve/blood supply to the tooth is located!. When the pulp chamber is infected the infection can travel through the root of the tooth and out the end!. The infection, if bad enough, can cause pressure enough to form a 'sinus tract' and it follows the path of least resistance which is to the gums!. This is fairly frequent, the pimples are usually asymptomatic (not too painful)!. If this IS a Parulis, then your daughter will most likely need a root canal!. Unless she is in pain, it can certainly wait until monday!. It happens, like I said, very frequently!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

its called a "pulp polyp" it forms when the tooth is badly broken down especially in children if they are bottle fed for more than two years which makes their teeth more prone to cavities and they are not regularly checked by the dentist for fillings!. The tooth becomes irrritated and the pulp(innermost part) swells up!. If the tooth is moving then she is lucky it is ready to come out!.

It kinda painful but i would advise you not to give her cold foods and beverages and give her her regular medicine for fever every four hours to ease the pain (if there's pain)

Then go and make an appointment with her dentist(better if its a pedodontist(pediatric dentist) as soon as possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is hard to say if it is a pimple or not!. My suggestion is that you try and call your dentist's office!. Sometimes they will have an answering service that you're able to get help on an emergency basis!. It is better to check then to leave it as it may not be a pimple that is on her gum!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is not a pimple it is a form of herpies!. No worries it is not the sexually transmitted kind!. They are very common in and around the mouth!. Just tell her to be patient and it will go away!. The more she messes with it the worse it will get, so just leave it alone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
