Question: What will the likely procedure be for my molar cavity!?
I went into the dentist and he said i had a cavity in my top right molar!. I left and scheduled an appointment for next week, now about 5 days later I feel the tooth with my tongue that had the cavity and all of a sudden I can feel this gaping, deep hole on the back of my right molar!. it was not this big before and i could not feel it, it goes into the gum line and i want to know what is going to happen with this!. will he just fill it or will i need the gum to be dug out or whatever, thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you probably didn't notice it before!. He will numb you, remove all the decay from the tooth, probably place a band around the tooth, and then fill it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
if you are young and the tooth is still to be lost(which i doubt) then the cavity could move onto the permanent!. it sounds like you might have to get a root canal as the hole is deep and big!. ask for the laughing gas to ease the (little) pain and nervousness you might haveWww@Answer-Health@Com
