Generally children start loosing their teeth anywhere between four and six!. I think I was actually six or seven when I lost my first tooth! Most kids are in kindergarten when they lose their first tooth, but it's not always the case: I was in grade two, and there's one girl I know who was in grade three! Some kids may even have lost all their teeth by the fourth or fifth grade! I wouldn't be concerned unless there was trauma, such as she was hit in the mouth or she was desperate and tried to knock it out herself (there's a little boy I heard of who did this)!. Unless there was trauma or a cavity, I wouldn't be concerned!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depends on the child sometimes!. At that age, you might want to at least call the dentist to see if your child needs a temporary tooth in case the adult tooth isn't ready to come in yet!. I'm sure it's fine though!.

Personally, I'd be more worried if my kid was ten and didn't have any teeth falling out yet!. Some people lack the ability to produce the enzyme that breaks down the root of the baby teeth; they need to have the dentist pull them out (ouch)!. In places where they don't have good dentistry the adult teeth just grow up around the baby ones and a bunch of extra teeth end up in the mouth at the same time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Taking her to the dentist, if you have not done so yet, would be a good idea to ensure her teeth are developing properly!. If you are concerned about her loose tooth and are wondering what to do I would suggest letting it fall out naturally!. My daughter was very late in loosing her first tooth and it fell out on it's own!. Her other teeth were being pushed out by the new ones coming in and when I took her to the dentist she suggested to let them fall out as they will!.!.!.pulling them is rather unnecessary unless it is causing pain and discomfort!. The dentist has already informed me that she will need braces later in life due to the way her teeth are coming in (they can see the permanent teeth on xray)!. However, this is just the experience I have had with my daughter and what the dentist has suggested we do!.!.!.your situation may be entirely different!. Hope this helps:)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nothing wrong with your 4 year old having a loose tooth!.!.!.they are baby teeth so its not a problem!. If the tooth starts hurting her then take her to the dentist, they can help it along or they will just pull it!.
Dont forget that once it does come out!.!.make a big deal about it!.!.!.tell her that she needs to put it under her pillow (or some other arrangement) so that the tooth fairy can give her money!. Dont forget to keep it as a momento of her first tooth!.!.put it in a container!.!.date it so that you can bring it out to her when she is in her 20s!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

For every child it is different!. Usually children that get their teeth early on lose them early and same goes for getting them later!. My Daughter is 6 1/2 and just getting in her 6 year molars, but no lose teeth!. She was late getting her teeth!. The dentist told me the above is true!. Yes some children lose their teeth by 4 or 5 years old!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

4 is good - but if she hasn't been to a dentist yet - now would be a good time to take her!. Most Kindergarden's require that the child has gone to the dentist anyway before attending school!. Of my twins - one lost his first tooth at age 5 - they will be 7 in Jan!. and the other still hasn't lost ANY!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should take your child to the dentist the first time a tooth starts to grow, roughly around a couple of month and you should get it checked by a dentist!. hopefully nothing is wrong and everything is good!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

THE CHART BELOW IS NOT WRITTEN IN STONE, BUT IT'S ONLY GENERAL BECAUSE IT APPLIES TO MOST CHILDREN
