What is that bubble/sore on my lip?!
Question: What is that bubble/sore on my lip!?
Last night I went to the gym and worked out for about an hour!. After leaving the gym, I realized it was really, really cold outside!. I got home about 1 hour later and while I was eating, I realized there was something weird on my lip!. I saw it on the mirror and it was a small dot/bubble!. My mom said that it might be a cold sore and not to touch or lick it!. I have never gotten cold sores before!. I don't share drinks or make-up with anybody!. I have no clue where I might have gotten it!. Well!.!.!.!. in reality I don't even know what it is!.!.!.it wasn't painful nor did it burn!. It's just there!. To prevent it from getting larger I bought some Abreva!. I put it on last night and this morning it seems to be worst!. My lip is now swollen!. Now the dot that I had looks more like a tiny canker sore!. I think the Abreva burnt my lip!. Anybody wants to guess on what it might be!? Perhaps this happened because of my body temperature while I was working out!.!.!.!.!.not sure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It can be a cold sore!. A cold sore is a form of herpes!. Be aware that this form of herpes is NOT genital herpes!. Chicken pox is herpes!. If you've ever had chicken pox then your body has the herpes virus!. This virus stays in your system for life and can cause cold sores or repeat bouts of chicken pox (though not very often), and even shingles (a form of chicken pox typically centralized on your abdomen)!.
If it is a cold sore try not to lick it!. Don't share anything with any other person!. Use common sense!.

It sound like a fever blister which yes is herpes but its not the same strand as the STD!. I get them from time to time and your mom is right the best thing to do is to leave it alone, don try to pop it!. ive never tried the Abreva but Carmex has always helped with the sweeling and redness!. sounds like a fever blister i also get them i have noticed when they are about to come out my lip gets itchy and a little warm on the spot its coming out on!. but i use a over-the-counter med!. called Campho-Phenique this just dries it out it works pretty fast!. i will also use carmex after its dried out a bit

its sounds like herpes/cold sore you can have the herpes infection for years without knowing it and they are triggered by cold air, stress, tierdness and being run down!. get using the abreva!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like a fever blister/cold sore/herpes!. It'll get worse before it gets better!. Keep using a Abreva!.

really prolly not the temp!. if your mom thinks in a cold sore it prolly is!.!.!.since its swoolen and i wonder how large it really is, it it red, red with white in the middle!? if its very very tiny, then it could be a canker sore since u said its more like a bubble, if its more on top of the skin and very small its prolly a canker sore(like the size of a pen tip, but if its larger, like the size of the pens body, and its swollen, and its more smoothed out an kind of under the skin, then its really prolly a cold sore, and you should prolly go to the doctor cuz it's ether herpes 1 or herpes 2!. you may have been born with it but no one knew, cuz some people never show symptoms, or just once in your live you touched something then touched your mouth, u could have got it, but symptoms can take a long time to show, or even maybe someone didnt wash the silver ware or cup well enough, all cold sores are ether herpes 1 or herpes 2!. My mum got something like this last year, she went to the doctors about it!. she had it removed and sent off to a lab for testing on incase it was cancerous!. Thankfully it wasn't but it could have been, so the best thing to do is go to your doctor and see what he/she says!.

Well it could be a million things and I'm sure its not anything like herpes since you said you've never done anything with anyone before!.
I think you should wait it out for a couple of days and see what happens!. The abreva could have irritated the sore on your lip!. If it gets better it might just not be anything but if you think its getting worse or if it's bothering you, you should deffinately go to your doctor and check it outWww@Answer-Health@Com
