Question: Is this a good reason to take off work!?
i was going to go into work today, but got a shooting pain in my back tooth, right side 2 teeth away from top right wisdom teeth, it gave me an earache on that side and a pretty bad headache, i took some alieve and the pain really didn't go away, i called my job to tell them i'm not coming in and the guy was like you called almost an hour late, i was planning to come in late but the pain just didn't go away, i'm going to my dentist tomorrow morning for an emergency visit i guess cause this pain is pretty severe, is this a good reason to take off work cause i hate to get in trouble with my job and allWww@Answer-Health@Com

Be sure to ask your dentist for a 'release to return to work' note that you will give to your employer!. This way you've covered yourself for the absence!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Certainly it is a good reason! It is a medical emergency! If your employer does not uphold that, consider legal action as a final resort after everything else falls through!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Definitely, just ask for a note from the dentist!. I always see the receptionist giving them out to people when I go during the week!. Just tell them to include today's date on it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
