I have an infection in my mouth?!

Question: I have an infection in my mouth!?
i got my wisdom teeth out about 3 weeks ago, and i got an infection a few days ago!. i suffer from bad breath all the time, and i control it with listerine, but i don't know if i can use the listerine with my infection!. the dentist said to lightly squeeze my cheek where it's puffy so the puss comes out through my gums, then rinse with salt water, but he never said if i can use mouthwash or not!. (i've tried the salt water for bad breath, it doesn't help at all)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
listerine normally works with infections, in fact in normally numbs them and makes them not painful!. keep using it!.
also do whatever the doctor says to do, they're probably right!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

so if you saw the doctor already and those were his instructions, then I guess you don't have to go to the doctor again!. Just keep doing what the doctor said and you shouldn't use mouthwash!. You should also try peroxide water!. When i get blisters in my mouth and get infected i usually use Povidone-iodine-, slightly put some on with q-tip!. In any case drink liquid chlorophyll it cleans ur inside and reduces bad breath!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes you can use mouthwash!.!.!.
mouthwash and salt water do a similar thing!
but as long as you have the infection you'll have bad breath!.
He was probably hoping that using the salt water (pretty strong bacteria killer) for a few days would work , especially letting the 'wound' dry up!.
If it's persisting you could go see him for an antibacterial prescription!. $20, follow the plan and it should work!.

Salt water helps for the healing process, not for bad breath!. If he didn't say you can't use mouth wash then I don't see why you can't, but your best bet would be to call him or schedule another appointment!. You could also have a rotten tooth!.!.!. they cause the type of bad breath you seem to be describing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I can tell you that my son got 2 infected saliva glands (we have 4) from using mouthwash!. Because they are wonderful at killing all the good bacteria we need to keep our mouth healthy, it helps keep your mouth unhealthy (with lovely breath)!. Doctor told my son to NEVER use mouthwash!.

Keep using the salt washes and suck sugar-free mints or menthol soothers for your breath!.

I think Camron has a good point too!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Infections are very serious!!! You need to find a dentist that is going to put you on an antibotic for the infection and investigate the source of the infection!. If the swelling or pain become too painfull go to the emergency room!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

there should not have been an infection after the teeth were removed!.!.now it could be the cause of something else bt you should go see your dentist so they can clear the puss if any!.!. use peroxide cause it kills all germs!.!.then brush or rinse like you are already doing but swish it in your mouth gently!.!. if you have an infection, go see a dentist right away!. dental infections can be fatal!. Odds are the infection is beneath the surface so the peroxide or Listerine will help your breath but not put you out of dangerWww@Answer-Health@Com

Rinse your mouth with peroxide!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
