Question: Whats the herbst appliance like!?
omg! im getting the herbst appliance in a week! and im im scared!!!!!!!!!!
does it hurt!?
it says that when you first get it on, you immediatly look better and that your lower jaw is pushed forward!.!.!.but i looked in the mirror and pushed my lower jaw forward and i look stupid!!.!.!.so is that what you look like!?
can eat!?
can you talk!?
is it big!?
does it give you sores!?

Chillax hun, the herbst isn't that bad!. My friend had it and I was supposed to get it but I got elastics instead!. This is a picture of the herbst:

Its smaller now though!. Not as bulky!. Ask your ortho if maybe you could get a MARA appliance!. It is supposed to be smaller and more able to get used to!.

oh no!. i was supposed to get that!. i told my orthodontist i was not going to do that!.
i wore rubber bands instead and it pulled my jaw forward in about 12 weeks!.
*if you do get rubber bands make sureeeeeeee you wear them!. if you dont you will have braces longer than you were supposed to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
