very normal! your teeth will be sore on and off throughout your entire braces process! Be prepared for it!. Also, I dont think its a great idea to be biting into apples, you could break the bracket off!. You need to read up on what you can and cannot eat so that you dont cause any damage to your braces and may be causing yourself or your parents more money!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes this is normal, did your orthodontist explain any of this to you!? Your teeth are moving very slowly, causing the pain, but it should go away after a while!. Each time you get a new wire, your teeth will be sore because each wire is thicker and causing more movement!. As for biting into an apple, don't do it, you can take the brackets off by doing that!. And if you are constantly having your brackets fall off it will prolong your treatment, because those teeth aren't being moved!. If you have anymore Q's just ask, I am an Ortho Dental Assistant!. If it's only been 2 weeks since you've got them on then yes that's normal!. And because you said it hurts most where the spaces are the biggest, which I'm assuming is a big reason for the braces, then yes, that would be normal, because your teeth should be shifting and getting closer together, which can cause pain!. It'll get better!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes its normal i've had braces for 3 and half years!. I know how it feels when teeth are moving!. I just ate softer foods until the pain goes away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
