Telling an orthodontist what you want?!

Question: Telling an orthodontist what you want!?
I'm getting my braces off in two months but there's still some crookedness I'd like to have fixed; the alinement is perfect but the facing of two of my front teeth looks off!. My orthodontist said we're done doing adjustments and we're now going to let the teeth settle!.
I don't have a problem having the braces on a little longer if he can fix the crookedness but I don't know how to bring it up!.!.!.
I mean he's the professional, he's been doing it for 20 years so I feel awkward saying, "Hey, you know, I'd like you to fix this before I get these off!." I don't want to tell him how to do his job and it's not like having braces is like getting a hair cut so what do you suggest!? I'm not sure if he thinks it's not a technical problem or if he's just avoiding it because the alinement is fine!?
Should I just be polite and tell him I'd like it fixed!?
Has anyone given input to their orthodontist!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
The easiest way to settle this is to ask directly!. It may be the problem lies in the shape of the teeth themselves and that's not something braces will improve no matter how long you leave them on!. It may also be that the teeth can't be pushed together any closer without doing damage to the roots!. Everyone likes to think that braces will leave their teeth in a perfect line of little white soldiers, but that's only true to a point!. The only way you will have an answer is to ask the man directly and plainly!. As you said, you paid him for his experience and expertise, and now it's time to ask for some of it as advice!. You may not like the answer, then again, maybe you will!. But you won't know if you don't ask!. Professional folks don't generally mind answering questions, if they are posed politely!. I don't suggest demanding things, but asking about the remaining crookedness is perfectly fine!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
