Tooth extraction blood clot formation?!

Question: Tooth extraction blood clot formation!?
I had my 2 right wisdom tooth removed in a simple extraction about 6hrs ago and I've been biting on the gauze like I was told to, but it kept bleeding so I'm on my 4th piece of gauze (I changed it after it had been in for at least an hour and started bleeding again)!. I had the last piece of gauze in for ages and it had stopped bleeding, so I took it out hoping there was a clot, but I think it was attached to the gauze because it started bleeding again when the gauze came out!. Then it really started bleeding when I tried swallowing!. I put more gauze in and the bleeding stopped, but I'm wondering how to get a clot to stay in place and when I can stop using the gauze!. Also if there's anyway to swallow without lots of pain and bleeding in the absence of gauze!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Totally normal!. It'll take a little while to clot!. I send people home with TONS of gauze!. Try to relax!. Don't spit, use a straw or smoke!. These things create suction in the mouth and prevent the clotting!.

Once you stop actively bleeding, you can give up the gauze!. It's only just happened today, right!? This takes a few days to heel!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

try chew on the gauze for as many hours as you can, ive just had an extraction and a back tooth, and it did exactly the same, bled like mad, i went back to the dentist and she put a plug into the socket to stop the bleeding and give the close something to form on, if its really bothering you go back and she may do that, but bite on the gauze applying pressure for as many hours as possible it will clot in the end, mine actually bled from 3pm tuesday when i had it taken out until about 4pm wednesday even with the plug still in it, its normal but if you have too much pain like severe pain i suggest you go to your emergency dentist or A&E hoe this helps xxxWww@Answer-Health@Com

OUCH!
I had all four wisdom teeth removed at the same time!. The same thing happened to me when i went to pull the gauze out it took the clot that was forming with it!. It was very noticeably a clot of blood on the gauze!. The reason it happend is because I fell asleep and the piece of gauze dryed out a tiny bit letting the clot adhere to it!. I think the trick is to change the gauze very frequently, and keep your mouth hydrated, even if just to rinse with water to keep it moist!. I ended up with dry socket which I would not wish on my worst enemy!. I would rather give childbirth again!.
