Question: Vampire teeth and braces question!?
http://www!.flickr!.com/photos/carrierox4e!.!.!. What would my dental problem be called!?!? I call them vampire teeth but what would they really be called!?!? Would Invisaline ( http://www!.invisalign!.com/Pages/Home!.asp!.!.!. ) be able to fix my teeth or would I need braces for my specific problem!?!? I also heard that getting some of my teeth pulled would bring those vampire teeth down to where they are suppose to go, is that true!?!? Thanks!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am an orthodontic and dental assistant!. I would say after looking at your picture that invisalign would not be an option for you!. It usually only corrects minor problems!. I would say traditional braces would be best for you!. I have seen many cases where patients have the same problem as you!. It is usually corrected by removing a premolar and pulling your canine (or vampire) teeth down to line up with the others!. You ought to have a consult at an orthodontist office and I'm sure they can better explain the procedure!. Hope this helped some! Best of luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
