Extremely important question, please answer!?!

Question: Extremely important question, please answer!!?
Okay, so I woke up about an hour ago and ate breakfast and got dressed!. Then I decided to brush my teeth!.!.!.!.!.

AND THEY HAVE A SMALL GAP BETWEEN THEM!
(the two front ones)
I have had braces before!. I got them of in August, and i'm supposed to to wear the retainer 24/7 except for when I eat!.

For half the month of September I only wore them at night!.
Then I st oped wearing them all together!.
I did this because I hate the retainer, and my dad told me he never wore his, and that his teeth stayed super perfect!.

So here is the question; if I wear my retainer constantly ( with they move my teeth back to make them not have a gap anymore!?
My retainer is the clear kind, so I was thinking that it work like one of those invisline kind!?
It fits my mouth if i bite down when i wear it!.!.!. it's in right now!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yea, just wear it as much as you can!. and once your teeth straighten back out, wear it at night to keep them in place!. its no big deal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your dentist has asked you to wear your retainer you need to!. This is what will keep the spaces at a minimum through your mouth!. The braces helped move the muscles and the bones so that the teeth would close up, but unfortunately right now, there are a lot of bones and muscles in your mouth, that still haven't been used to working on their own!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

my sister had retainer she was so imbaraced to wear it she found some real small rubber bands for her hair at a dollar store that was clear colored they was about the size of a pencil she stretched one over her front teeth and wore it day and night and belive it or not her teeth are perfect it pulled them togather and she wasnt affraid to go in the publicWww@Answer-Health@Com

I just found out myself that you have to wear your retainer for the rest of your life after braces!. First couple of months after braces being removed 24/7 then only for a few hours!. But if you dont your teeth will go move back to the original location!. Ask your dentist he can tell you!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It probably will close the gap!. Get to where the retainer will fit in and out easily!. Any time it is a little tight fitting in, that is cause your teeth are moving out from where they are supposed to be!. Your dad was lucky that his teeth stayed but for most people, they will not!. He is wrong in saying you don't need to wear it!. I'm pretty sure the orthodontist knows more on this subject than your dad!. Your teeth probably won't go back to full crooked but they will drift some!. After you close the gap, at least wear the reatiner at night enough that like I said it fits in and out loosely!.

You may be getting a gap because your frenum extends down too far on your gums and a frenectomy will help!.

This is a description from WIkipedia:
"The labial frenulum often attaches to the center of the upper lip and between the upper two front teeth!. This can cause a large gap and gum recession by pulling the gums off of the bone!. A labial frenectomy removes the labial frenulum!. Orthodontic patients often have this procedure done to assist with closing a front tooth gap!."

Here's a link to a website showing what a frenectomy does

Again, your retainer will hold the teeth together to close the gap but when out, your frenum may pull them apart!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
