Something in my gums after extraction?!

Question: Something in my gums after extraction!?
Had a molar, #30, pulled almost two weeks ago!. Tonight I noticed this whitish substance in the extraction site!. I thought it was food that just wouldn't come out so I brushed a little hard and it did seem to come out but then I noticed some bleeding!. Any idea what this substance could have been!? It almost seemed to be attached to the hole in the extraction site!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

The White soft tissue like thing was healing tissue!. When the socket heals above that it comes!. You should not try to remove it!. Just do warm saline rinses 2-3 times a day so that the socket doesnot get infected!. For more information on tooth extraction you can read the following very informative article

It might have been a clot that had formed from the bleeding and oozing that happens after the removal of teeth!. If you do remove a clot there will be bleeding shortly after!. Leave the clot alone!. Removing clots delays healing time!. If you continue to have problems consult your dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
