When i had mine i brushed morning and night and used mouth wash, i did this religiously! Then if i ate something in between i would try to brush for 30 seconds or so, this worked for me and i didn't have stains when they came off!. Just be sensible about it but don't stress too much, if i was out or at work i just gave them a brush when i got home!. I didn't floss!. Those little brushes are great to just stick in your bag, then you can clean in between them easily if you are out and are worried about food stuck in them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should brush after every meal and floss at least once a day!. Because of the braces you might consider using a Waterpik instead of the floss!. A good rule of thumb is you should brush the length of time it takes you to sing the "Happy Birthday" song in your head!. Remember to use up and down strokes rather than back and forth!. If you choose to use a mouth rinse elect for one with flouride but no alcohol!. Just use the rinse once a day!. Let it swish in your mouth for a full minute before spitting!. Now, say cheese!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I brush each morning and evening before bed and also after each meal everyday!. I floss and mouthwash at night before going to bed!. I also have a WaterPik, they work very well for people with braces!. My nightime routine normally takes me about 15 minutes!. Instead of mouthwash, I use a floride rinse, gargle in mouth for approx!. 1 minute then spit it out!. These can be found on the toothpaste isle!.

What I am doing must work well because every visit to my orthodontist, he always compliments me on how clean I am keeping my braces!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
