2 weeks after root canal and tooth feels funny?!

Question: 2 weeks after root canal and tooth feels funny!?
2 weeks ago I had to have a root canal done because I had an abscess on my front tooth!. A temporary filling was put in!.
After I had to have a week of anti-biotics because it became infected and I was in agony!
She said if the pills dont work then the tooth may have to come out!.
Well I stopped the pills a week ago and the pain has stopped thank god! but the problem is whenever I smile or laugh I can "feel" the gum and tooth - it feels like a tingly feeling like the nerve is showing or something!. It doesnt hurt but just feels weird and horrible!.

I see the dentist in 2 days time because she is replacing the filling for a permanent so I will mention it - but is it normal for a root canal to still feel funny 2 weeks after or is it just because the proper filling isnt in yet!?

I dont want my tooth pulled just because it feels funny and tingly when I laugh or smile - but I dont want to be left with this weird sensation either!?!

Any experience with root canals would be appreciatedWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
If it isnt anything that hurts to bad then I wouldnt worry about it!. The temp fillings are not as thick as the perm!. one so air could just be getting in side whenever you open your mouth!. If it isnt sensitive to hot or cold I wouldnt worry about and just ask your dentist when you go backWww@Answer-Health@Com

If your tooth feels Funny, just laugh at it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
