When is it safe to smoke after wisdom teeth removal?!

Question: When is it safe to smoke after wisdom teeth removal!?
I only got my two top wisdom teeth removed!. There was no special surgical procedure, they simply pulled them!.
I really don't need answers like "I should just quit!." I just need to find out when I'm in the clear so I don't get Dry Socket!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its rare to get a dry socket with upper teeth, however it is more likely if you don't follow your post-op directions like using straws and smoking!.

My office suggests 48-72 hours (two to three days)!. I know that's really difficult, but please do the best you can!. Not only is the suction from smoking likely to cause a dry socket, but also smoking inhibits the flow of blood to the tissue in your mouth which can make it harder to form/keep a clot and for your mouth to heal!.

Best of luck, and I do hope that one day you're able to quit - for you not because everyone says so!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

at least 4 days I hate to tell you!. That blood clot has to form and stay in there, if you suck on a cig and pull it out, whammmmmm dry socket!.
I worked for a dentist and had people come in about a week later in the worst pain of their lives and reaked of smoke!. I would ask when they smoked and they all would say " i waited a few days' I took it as more like a " few hours"!.

Also avoid straws too or you can get one!. Suck the cigarette through your nose!. LOL!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I work with an oral surgeon!. Our directions state no less than one week!. Dry sockets hurt really bad!. So please follow proper directions!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
