Wisdom Teeth Removal-Dry Socket?!
Question: Wisdom Teeth Removal-Dry Socket!?
I just asked a question about whether I had dry socket or not, and I thought I had it resolved, but I'm not sure now!.
The thing is-I had them removed this last friday!. The pain is not unbearable-however, it is uncomfortable and frustrating!. It feels like there is just pressure and slight throbbing pain with it!. It comes and goes!. I have had the discomfort since Monday!. I keep reading that if you have dry socket, the pain is excrutiating-and my pain isn't that bad!.
Well, I bought clove oil per the advice of the oral surgeons office and cleaned the area really well before applying it!. However, now I feel like it hurts worse!. And when I started cleaning the area, I realized that the clot is still in there and I am worried I have messed it up!. If the clot is still is there than I shouldn't have dry socket, right!?
I am going to the dentist tomorrow, but I thought I would throw this out there to see what you all think!. Thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If the clot is still there then you do not have a dry socket!. Oil of Clove will not hurt you!.!.!.it may agitate the area a small amount but not enough to make a noticeable difference!. I think you are just going through the normal healing stage!. It is good that you are going to the dentist tomorrow he/she can confirm and address your concerns!. Never hurts to get advice though!. Dry socket is caused by sucking and applying pressure when your blood vessels have surfaced and are opened!.
Excruciating, unbelievably torturous pain is the way to describe dry socket!.
You have milder views of blood vessel throbs, which is when your vessels are not comfortable with what you are eating/drinking and are warning you to not drink/eat it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
