Gum swelling, behind last molar?!


Question: Gum swelling, behind last molar!?
ok i'm 16, almost 17!. i've had braces since may!. um, ok my last molar in the back of my mouth, like ya know the gum behind that tooth!? well its swollen on both sides, only on the bottom!. both sides are swollen!. the left side feels weird and kind of wrinkly!? sort of bumpy!? ok now both sides feel bumpy!. and the other side is fine, but i've just noticed 10 mins ago that it is swollen, and it feels firm!. one side hurts a little!. they've never been like this!. what could it be!?

Probably your wisdom teeth coming in!. Mine have all already broke through and that's what mine felt like when they were first coming through!. I used to just chew tons of gum while mine were breaking through because it helps with the pain some, but you might not want to do that if you have braces!. Just take some tylenol or if they really start hurting put some oregel on them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
