Answers:
1) you can eat as soon as you are hungry!. Try to keep the food towards the front of your mouth!.!.its a bit tricky, but the area around the socket may be a bit tender!.

2) Stop using gauze once the bleeding stops, maybe a day or two

3) Take the medication when you are in pain as directed, you probably wont really notice any pain after the first day or two, but still take a dose before bed because the pain that you can ignore durring the day can become almost agonizing when you are trying to sleep!.

Do not smoke or drink through a straw or suck anything for a week!. You could release the clot that forms in the socket!.!.!.this is called dry socket and it is extremely painful!. Basically you are exposing the nerves in you jaw bone and the pain feels like electricity shooting through your face!. The only thing the dr can do is to pack the socket with a disolvable material so as to protect it so a new clot can form!.!.!.this is also extremely painful and sometimes it needs to be done multiple times before a new clot forms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You only have to put the gauze in your mouth for an hour after the teeth are removed!. Take your medication according to the instructions on the bottle!. Make sure you take it on time because if you wait for the pain, it will only take longer for it to go away! I started eating soft foods shortly after my teeth were removed!. Try water ice, it feels really good!. Don't eat anything hot at first, it really hurt when I tried to eat mashed potatoes!.!.Take it easy!. Don't drink through a straw or smoke either, you could get dry socket, which I hear is painful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
