Both sides of my jaw pop and when I chew gum it hurts?!

Question: Both sides of my jaw pop and when I chew gum it hurts!?
it almost feels as if my jaw will lock after chewing gum so obviously I don't do that anymore!. I haven't suffered any trauma to my jaw and it has done this as long as I can remember!. It is really uncomfortable!. Do you know what this could be!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your TMJ is mad at you!. I had the same issue years ago!. I was chewing gum all the time and my jaw\ would pop!. You need to stop chewing gum, not just eat less!. My jaw no longer pops!. and hopefully your will stop too!. It took 3 month for it to stop popping once I stopped with the chewing gum!.

The reason you jaw pops is bc the constant chewing is pounding on the disc that is between your jaw bone and your skull!. As a result the disc and the jaw bone are not moving at the same rate (bc the disc got all bang up) the disk tries to go where its suppose to go by popping intop place!.

So quit gum for several months!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

go to an oral surgeon (dentist), it is probably TMJ!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
