Question: Whats with my wisdom teeth stitches!?
I got my wisdom teeth out a week ago today, and I just noticed the stitches from the upper ones the other day!.!. the stitches seem to be dropping down!? And the ones on the left side !.!. the area itself is starting to hurt!. (I already have dry socket in the lower ones, nothing I did wrong, it just developed)!.!.!.!. are the areas where the stitches are coming out supposed to hurt a little!? Because I thought they were just supposed to dissolve!? I'm confused!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Those stitches are supposed to dissolve, but sometimes for whatever reason it just takes a long time!. They could be causing some irritation!. Since its been a week, at this point you can carefully just snip them out yourself and the irritation should go away!. If it doesn't go away after removing them, or you are uncomfortable removing them yourself, you can always call for a quick follow-up appointment!.
