Does biting on a hard object constantly make your teeth crooked?!

Question: Does biting on a hard object constantly make your teeth crooked!?
Answers:
Hi miss gymnast!. YES it does!. Especially if you are in your growing age(up to 18 in male, up to 15 in female)!. Constant biting is a habit which is also a cause of mal-aligned teeth!. Its classified as environmental cause of maloclussion(crooked teeth)!. Some other examples of this are:
1!.Nail biting
2!.Thumb sucking!.
3!.Tobacco pipe smoking(in adults, it abrades the teeth and makes it look short and crooked)
4!.Lip biting
5!.Tongue thrusting(pushing of tongue against the teeth)

In pediatric orthodontic patients, dentists make habit inhibiting appliances to make the child stop tha habit which may lead to malocclusion
So Please avoid biting hard objects(especially, pen and pencil in students)
