Do I have pressure build up? Will it go away? (Pain after root canal)?!

Question: Do I have pressure build up!? Will it go away!? (Pain after root canal)!?
i just had the first part of my first root canal done 2 days ago!. i had pain when i went in, and came out with no pain!.!.!.it was great!

but soon enough, i started swelling (upper lip, around nose, left cheek) and some moderate pain was presented!. after i did some quick research online, the closest thing to what i'm feeling is labeled as "gas pressure build up"!. this where the temporary patch put over the hole in my tooth traps air in my, for lack of better words, "hollow" tooth and causes swelling and pain!.

will this swelling and pain leave on it's own!? or will i have to go back to my dentist and have them open the hole to release pressure!? i've read it goes away, but i want to hear it from a personal case who has experienced it!.

thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It is not because of trapping of air but it is because of necrotic pulp tissue causing it!. You must be prescribed with some anitbiotic and pain killer and this will take care of it!. But if it still persists then you have to visit dentist, who will open the dressing and clean the canal!. This is normal in the Root Canal Treatment!. You need to go back in, it is a normal part of the process!.!.!.!.and will not get better on its own,
They have to clean it out further and sterilize the canal, and then temporize it again to see how it does, its just residual infection!.

They will not close it until it is stable!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go back to the dentist, you may have a dry socket!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Root canals are commonly performed when the tooth is infected/abscessed or when there is a large cavity involving the nerve tissue!. When the nerve of the tooth is removed or when the infection is drained out through the root canal, there is usually immediate relief!. However, if you experience "gas pressure build up" then that means there is more pus trapped inside the tooth!. The pain does not go away and sometimes the area above the tooth will begin to swell up!.

To release the pressure buildup and initiate drainage of the pus you will need to have the temporary filling covering the access opening to the tooth removed!. Your dentist will re-open up the tooth and clean out the inside of your tooth further!.

As always consult your dentist for further questions!.
