It's because your wisdom teeth are growing that your experiencing pain!. Your gums fit around your normal teeth perfectly, however as wisdom teeth emerge, they push out the gums to grow through!. Basically your wisdom teeth are taking up room where there isn't any and so until your gums adjust it will be painful!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be impacted, could be infected, could be just growing!. It will hurt when it's coming in!. If you have pain in your ear or cheek then it's probably infected!. You could take ibuprofen to reduce inflammation, if it's just pain from it coming in then it will help!. If that doesn't help then you will need to see a dentist!. Good luck, it does hurt i'm having surgery to remove two of mine, which stinks because they are both bad and they are both on the same side so if I bite down they both have horrific pain!. Bottom line, if you feel it's more pain then it should be then go to a dentist, it can take 2-4 weeks to get into see an oral surgeon to have them removed, a normal dentist cant remove wisdom teeth!. Most likely it's impacted and doesn't have enough room to totally erupt above the gum line!. You can rinse with listerine or a salt water solution, but you may want to consider having it (and the others) removed!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be an inflamed gum!. Gums become inflamed when food or particles become lodged under the gum line!. Try using an electric toothbrush and floss to dislodge the food!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wisdom teeth can hurt a lot when they are erupting, so it does sound like the wisdom tooth!. If it doesn't get better in a day or two you may need to see a dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Floss the gap rinse the gap with original flavor listerine, repeat daily until soreness and swelling are gone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It may be impacted!. That is what happened to me!. You better get it checked because when I had waited it got infected and it hurt alot worse then!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
