When do my oral incisions stop tasting terrible?!

Question: When do my oral incisions stop tasting terrible!?
In the morning of October 30th, I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed!. The pain has subsided for the most part (nothing that a quick asprin can't take care of) and the swelling is 75% gone, but I still have this absolutely terribly taste in my mouth!. I can't even swallow my own spit because it is so revolting!. Even when I take a drink it mixes with the spit and tastes like all hell!. I rinse my mouth almost constantly with Listerine, but that only helps for 10-12 seconds and then it's back again!. Is there anything I can do to lessen this!? When will it go away!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

that is not supposed to happen after extractions you probley have infection in your sockets eg from smoking food ect try rinsing with corydsal mouth wash once a day and get an emergancy appointment with your dentist sounds like you need antibiotics for the infection

youve probably been eating solid food!. I only ate solid food once the bone was covered with gum which was 1!.5 to 2 weeks!. Solid food is probably packed into the hole but it could just be oozing from the holes but they just taste like gooey blood!. If its solid food in the holes you may want to use an oral syringe to push food out however, you may end up with dry socket!. I had stayed away from solid food for a good 1!.5 weeks after that i ate w/e i wanted and just had to wash out the holes

If you get the food out that hole IT WILL STINK!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This bad taste may last for a few weeks!. Keep your mouth as clean as possible!. You may want to try rinsing with warm salt water to help the incision site heal up faster!.

Try chewing gum when you really cannot stand the taste!.

If you start to get sore again or if you have any ooze from the incision site, call your doctor!. This may mean that you have a more serious infection and need antibiotics for a short time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
