What does getting your braces off feel like?!

i have had my braces on four about 4 years and i dream about what it would feel like to get them off! help me dream! !.!.!.so what does it feel like!?!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I got my braces off years ago, but as far as I remember it didn't hurt at all!. I think the orthodontist cuts the wire between the brackets, then applies some kind of solution that dissolves the glue holding them to your teeth and they come off pretty easily!. You may feel a little tugging, but nothing that will hurt!. Of course, you will have the plastic thing in your mouth that holds it open and keeps your lips out of the way, but that is the only uncomfortable part!.
As far as after they are off, for me, it felt really weird, because I had gotten so used to having them on!. It was weird to run my tongue across my teeth and feel it be smooth!. It felt weird not feeling the brackets on the underside of your lip!. It felt like something was missing!. But at the same time my mouth finally felt free!. But I had to get used to not wearing braces the same way I had to get used to wearing them!.
When I got mine off, I got a balloon!. And then you get to walk out into the waiting area and smile and show everyone that you got yours off!. And you get to see all the other people looking all jealous!. And you get to laugh to yourself about all the other people sitting there who have to have theirs tightened or something, and know that you never have to suffer through that ever again!. =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

They hurt at first, but you finally get to feel your smooth teeth again!. Everything you eat will feel different in your mouth, and you don't have to brush your teeth a million times a day!. My only advice is 1-wear the head gear if they say to, 2- wear the retainer until it falls apart, and 3- whatever you do, don't be neglectful, where you may need braces later in life!. My older sister had them twice, over about 15 years, and because of all the shifting, about four of her teeth fell out!. Not to scare you, just take good care of them, but enjoy them while you can!. the actual sitting in a chair and someone plucking off the pieces of metal isnt that bad!. the brackets on the front snap off pretty easily and don't hurt but the ones in the back that go all the way around your tooth- those use a bit of pressure to get off!. but it doesnt hurt!. after all the cement and metal is off your mouth feels really foreign and unusual and so smooth!. i remember the insides of my lips felt really weird on the slippery front instead of metal!. but it feels great after it all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well the actual procedure was terrible, it felt like they were ripping my teeth out!. Like there was a lot of pressure, but after seeing my teeth with them off I was so happy! And I could go back to eating everything without food getting stuck in my braces!. (:Www@Answer-Health@Com
It doesn't feel like much of anything until after they are off!.!.!. they feel so slimy!!! like not gross slimy but you aren't used to all that space so you're like whoaaa!. That will go away soon!. Also, I thought my teeth looked like huge horse teeth because I wasn't used to seeing them not covered but again!.!. that goes away!. GET EXCITED!Www@Answer-Health@Com
It doesn't hurt at all!. They pop off the brackets (which feels really weird) and then pull the whole thing out!. My mouth was filled with blood though, even though it didn't hurt at all!. Just warning you, because they never warned me that you bleed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It feels like your mouth becomes free at last!. The tight feeling of your braces will become a thing of the past!. However, the bad thing is that you have to wear retainers afterwards!. They're annoying to speak through if you have them on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Actually, once you get them off, your teeth feels completely free! It's an amazing sensation!. But then, after your braces, I think you have to have on retainers for another period of time!.!.!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

well if have had braces for a long period of time it feels odd becoz ur used to it but after a while it feels alright
