Question: Is there anything that can be done about a chipped front tooth!?
I used to have perfect teeth, not to brag but dentists used to tell me I had the healthiest cleanest straightest teeth they'd ever seen!. Back in 98 I had a stupid boyfriend who punched me in the mouth and chipped the top part of my front tooth!. It wasn't bad it was at the top by my gums but over the years it got worse and now it is obvious!. I smoke and my teeth look yellow and it is so bad that I am embarrassed about even smiling!. I don't have insurance but I do take care of my teeth, I was wondering what I could do to fix them and how expensive it is to get those caps or porcelain veneers put in without insurance!? I had sort of the same situation, It wasn't bad enough for a crown!. My dentist used a bonding agent, you first have to of course have your teeth cleaned and any stains removed, then the bonding can be put on to a perfect match!. Bleaching before is a good idea also, but you will not be able to bleach afterwords because crowns, veneers and bonding won't bleach!. Veneers is also a good option, a little pricey, but they look good!.

A tooth-colored composite filling may need to be done or a costly veneer, about $1,000 USD might need to be placed!.

I would call your dentist office and tell them the situation!. You better get it taken care of cause you might lose that tooth if you let it go much longer!. Some dentist will let you pay it out!. Call around and find one that is willing to help you out!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
My sister was pushed down and she chipped half her tooth away!. The dentist just added cermanic to her teeth and you couldn't tell that she had chipped her tooth!. It cost about 100!.00Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have a small chip in my front tooth as well, I am using a bleach kit from the dentist ($300 for kit but lasts a lifetime, all you have to do it purchase the bleaching agent)
I am bleaching my teeth before I hate the small chip repaired, costs about $150 from what dentist told me!. I went through braces and also take care of my teeth, so this is worth it!. I chipped the thing on a sunflower seed!
Your old dentist told you your teeth will rot!? He didn't do anything preventative or take care of those cavities!? Not a very good dentist, so not sure I would trust what he said!. Floss, brush and you should be okay!.!.!.get cleanings to ward off plaque!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

They are pretty expensive!. I myself broke almost half of my front tooth when I was a little girl!. I now have a pin in the back with a tooth colored filling over it!. You can hardly tell the tooth has a filling!. I have people looking at my teeth all day because I am working on them!. As far as your other gum line filling that is only one surface filling and aren't expensive compared to crowns or veneers!. I wold talk to a dentist first!. Go for a cleaning and consult!.
