Bruising after wisdom teeth removed?!
Question: Bruising after wisdom teeth removed!?
5 days ago all four of my wisdoms were taken out!. It has been the worst $1500 ever spent!. Very painful experience!. Today I am in still in a lot of pain but only on the left side, and I've noticed I have a huge disgusting yellowing bruise on my left jawline!. Is this normal!? Also if I'm brushing my teeth (carefully) is it normal to have a little bit of blood!?

all normal!. i had the operation done a few years ago and had bruising around my jawline- it went away after a week or so!. I took ibuprofen for the pain (although it didn't help much) and put a hot water bottle on the side of my face to help ease it!. it is normal to still have some bleeding- so long as the blood isn't gushing out it's fine!. were you given a mouthwash to use!? if so make sure you keep using that or you can boil some water and add salt to it and use that as mouthwash (when the water cools)!. it took about 2 weeks for the pain and bruising to go away fully!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Left side lots of pain!. That is a dry socket!. Call your dentist and he will pack and stitch it!. Make it all better!. lol I have had a few of those--so I am not critizing!. Yes, brusing is normal!. Bits of blood are fine also!. Good Luck to ya!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
