Question: Extreme pain after wisdom tooth stitches removed!.!.!?
My husband had his lower wisdom tooth removed 2 weeks ago!. It was an impacted wisdom tooth!. At first the pain was really bad but after a week it was nearly gone, just some slight pain!. Then a few days ago he had his stitches removed from the area!. The day after removing them the pain got so bad he was near tears, we had to go to the ER!. They didn't find any visible sign of infection, just gave more penicilin and vicodin for pain!. He went back to the dentist he said everything was ok, he rinsed his mouth with something and that's all!. 2 days later and the pain is still unbearable without the vicodin!.!.
No fever and no signs of infection!. The pain at times spreads out to one half of the face!.
I doubt this is normal!. What could be happening!? His face is a little swollen!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

could be an exposed nerve, thats what i had after having all mine out, it affects the lower ones more as they take longer to heal thats what i was told!. i had to go to the dentist every few days for 3 weeks to have the cavities packed with cotton wool soakedin clove oil that eased the pain tho it put me off cloves for life lol!. i think he should return to the dentist and explain how extreme the pain is or get a 2nd opinion!. hope he feels better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If there is swelling and pain then it looks like as if there is some infection!. You should discuss with your dentist!. You can go the oral surgeon who removed these!. You can do warm saline rinses for 2-3 times a day as these do help!. For more information on tooth extraction complication you can read the following

same thing happens to me drink alot of milk it will not hurt as much it works Www@Answer-Health@Com
