Type of sore that begins with a "G"?!

Question: Type of sore that begins with a "G"!?
I saw my doctor yesterday about a sore in my mouth, and she told me what she thought it looked like!. She said it looked like a benign sore that could have been caused by friction or trauma!.

I am going into the dentist to have them look at it and want to tell them what my doctor said it looked like, but I can't remember what she called it!

I know it started with a "g", the word granola comes to mind when I try to remember it!.

Please help! Does anyone know what this is called!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
