Question: Do you have problems with your dental night guard!?
I recently paid a lot of money for my dentist to make a night guard for me!.
I have been back to him 3 times to have it re-adjusted and shaped!.
My problem is this - I put it in when I go to sleep and I wake up with it on the floor or in my bed!.
Do you have the same problem!?
Is this normal!?
What can I do!?

go back and insist the dentist make you one for the other jaw, obviously wearing this one where you do ISN'T WORKING!.

I'm with you!. It took me years to work up to paying that much money (I paid $700) for a bite guard but I finally had to give in after I fractured my third tooth from clenching so hard!. I have had it adjusted over and over and it's just so uncomfortable that it causes me more pain than the clenching!. I finally went ahead and bought an over-the-counter bite guard (the squishy kinds that you boil in water mold to your teeth) and it is so comfortable and work so well!. I'm just kicking myself that I didn't try that in the first place, but my dentist advised against it!. I wonder why!? :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
This probably isn't an adjustment problem!. You are likely taking it out at night and not realizing it!. Be persistent and keep putting it in every night!. You will eventually get used to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
