I have a redlish thing on my back gums after my back tooth what could it be?!

Question: I have a redlish thing on my back gums after my back tooth what could it be!?
Answers:
It could be infection in the gum!.
It could be infection in the wisdom or last tooth!.
You could have something caught in the last tooths' outside gum!.
You could have scratched it when brushing your teeth!.
It could be of greater concern if you smoke or if you chew tobacco!. Lots of things it could be!.

You don't say how long you have had this, but if you have had it over a week you probably need to see your dentist or general physician!.

If it has just appeared in the last day or two you could try rinsing that area with a solution of warm salty water every 4 hours to see if that will cause it to disappear!. (don't make the solution to salty)
If it is not gone in 12 to 24 hours after using the salt solution, you really need to see your dentist or general physician as you may need antibotic treatment or test done!.

Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
