Are my retainers too tight or are they supposed to hurt?!

I just got retainers to bridge the gap between my two front incisors and there's a lot of pressure on the right incisor and that's making it extremely sore!. I'm not sure if this is just the pain of moving two teeth together or if my retainer is too tight!.
What do you guys think!? Should I talk to my orthodontist!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
