they said they r giving me this perminet retainer, behind my teeth and im not sure if they gave me a choice on the permint retainer or frencetomy!. and the frecetomy is on my upper lip and after i get my braces off!. help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is a little tender not to bad!. It's probably because your front teeth will start to get a space between them!. They just cut the little muscle under your upper lip!. Not bad at all!. If I had a choice between a retainer or that I would chose a frenectomy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
My daughter had this done as a young girl!. It was no big deal!. It was sensitive when first done, but once it healed-nada!Www@Answer-Health@Com
