Question: Can an old tongue piercing cause problems!?
I have had my tongue pierced for about 7 years!. This past year I keep getting horrible sore throats!. I am not sure, but it seems that when I take out my piercing, it starts to get better!. I took it out for a month, and soon as I put it back in the sore throat came back!.!. It is odd! Has anyone experienced this!? Could it be my tongue that hurts but feels like my throat!? You can get sick from germs on the jewelry or even the chemicals that it is made with!. Infection in the piercing would be swallowed all day long and make you sick!.
