Question: ROOT CANAL!.!.!.!.!.ANYBODY!?!!?!!?
I was at the dentist today about a pain that I was having in 4 teeth and they told me that I will need 3 fillings and 1 root canal!. I was wondering just from someone that had the experience!. What is a root canal!? Can you describe the sensation!? Would pulling the tooth out be less pain and a better option!? I am 15, umm I guess not good with pain and I have braces but the lady said that she's going to ask ortho to move some of the metal!. So if you had a root canal help me! Www@Answer-Health@Com

ignore the above comment!. there is no reason to panic!.!.!. let me first explain what a root canal is!. the dentist will clean out any decay in your tooth-just like he would for a filling!. now, a root canal goes deeper than a filling but during the appointment you should not feel any pain!. it may just take a bit longer than a typical filling!. he will reach the nerve of your tooth and clean out the bacteria/infection in the roots of your teeth using different instruments!. then, he will put in a filling in the roots of your teeth and a filling in the crown of your tooth!. it sounds really scary and people tell horror stories, but with the modern techniques many people don't have any problems with the procedure!. if you are really afraid then ask your dentist if you could take some medication that will basically make you a little sleepy and you wont care about the appointment, or you could possibly get nitrous!. hope i helped! wow, im sorry but i hope you learned your lesson about brushing well!. root canals are a journey to HELL! no joke!. it hurts sooooooo bad! my older brother haad one and ilke couldn't eat for weeks!.yeah, it's bad!. so stack up on soft foods, gum, and motrin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
