Question: Molar Tooth Pain!? 10 pts!.!?
So I had a root canal in my lower molar about a year ago, and recently, I've felt this pain throughout my entire left side jaw bone!. The tooth doesn't hurt to bite down, but its more painful when I'm not doing anything!. I just had a root canal re-done on the right about two months ago!.

You could have another tooth bothering you!. But the incidence of root canal failure increases after a tooth is retreated!. You could have an abscess at the base of that tooth and that is what's causing your pain!. You need to see a dentist and have them take a periapical xray to make sure you don't have an abscess!. it could be another tooth, or the same tooth may need to be retreated, only 85% of root canals are effective, maybe you're one of the unlucky ones and have to have 2 teeth retreated, good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
