Question: Chewing and spitting it back out!?
hey is it okay to chew food and spit it back out just for the taste, just as long as you eat your main meals!. i mean spitting out stuff likes treats:cookies, soda, midnight treats!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It won't hurt you as long as you brush afterwards to protect your teeth, especially at night!.

It is a waste of food though, and still won't be as satisfying as swallowing it!. Instead of doing this, maybe you can make it last longer by saving each treat and only having one per night!. If you don't have the will to resist, ust buy one at a time!. Be careful because a lot of bulimics start out this way!. If you do!. don't let it progress to anything worse!.

Since you put this question in dental I am going to assume that you want to know if doing this will affect your teeth!. Yes it will if you do it often and especially as a midnight treat!. Sugary food just need to contact your teeth to be a problem so if you chew up and spit out make sure to brush afterwards!. The nice thing is it won't add to the number of calories you take in!. I do not know why you do this!. There is still residue from the food left on your teeth!.!.!.!.because plaque helps hold it in place!. If you are going to have a treat!. Limit yourself to one a day and just go ahead and eat it!. You can rinse right after eating the treat with something like crest pro-health rinse!. Brush your teeth right after!.
