It depends how long you have to wear them!.
I have a full set (both bottom and upper rows of teeth) and I have to wear them for two years!. The total was almost $4000!.
However, you can pay monthly until you pay them off or make a down payment and pay sections of it, or you can pay the whole thing before you get them on!.!. this is what I did and it seemed to work the best!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My original orthodontist said it'd cost my mom roughly 7000 dollars!.
Depends on your orthodontist/dentist and I'm sure your insurance!.
EDIT: If it matters to you, my braces are to correct my cross-bite and my overcrowding, not teeth straightening!.

more then u will ever have i paided for my daughter to get braces and i now live in a box because i can't afford anything!. they cost about 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,00!.!.!. on downer side she will have braces for ever or until they fall off because i am not paying another 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,00!.!.!. to get them off! on the up side if they do ever fall off her teeth will we abnormally strait(:Www@Answer-Health@Com
It depends on your dentist's rates and your plan!. I had braces for 3 years and a retainer before that for 6 months!. This cost $3300!. What my dentist did was $1000 down payment, then payments of $100 every time i came in each month for checkups!. Just keep in mind that the longer you wear them, the higher the cost!. But you do get more comfort since your teeth will be adjusted slower!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
It depends on how bad your teeth are and your insurance!. Mine are pretty bad and including my retainer are going to cost close to 6 grand!. Hopefully yours aren't as bad or you have insurance!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
