Question: Will the hole in my gums go away!?
I recently got my teeth pulled and they said that my braces should close the gaps in about five or 6 months!.
What I want to know is if the whole in my gums from where my teeth were will level off in the meantime or will that hole be there the hole time!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Joshua B - don't be stupid, the teeth were probably pulled due to crowding!. And last I checked eating 'sweat' doesn't cause cavities!.
I had 4 teeth pulled pulled 3 weeks ago and they're already smaller and smoothing out!. I'm getting my braces on Friday - so I'm going to keep up with the salt rinses etc, which should help things along!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

What will actually happen is that your teeth will shift into that spot!. Without having braces that is usually only common when you have a bottom tooth removed and the one above it will start to drop some!. In your case your orthodontist will use the braces to pull your other teeth closer to fill the gap!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

my mom is a dental hygienist and yes it will!. itll still feel a little like a dip but it will close in a few weeks!. yay for u!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
The hole will disappear once your new tooth comes in!. If you pulled an adult tooth out, the hole will heal other and become smooth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled at once, there were huge holes in my gums!. Now they are gone!. Yes, they will go away, trust me!. Just make sure you brush very well so it doesn't get infected!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
