Question: I just got my wisdom teeth out!.!.!?
!.!.and its roughly one month after the surgery!. for some reason its getting really swollen and somewhat painful!. Its not dry socket because i had that in the other side of my mouth and that sucked!. this is different!.

The only possible thing i could think of is that its infected!. Would any one have any clue why its getting swollen and somewhat painful one month after the surgery!?!?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It should be getting less painful at this point, and swelling should be gone!. I think it's reasonable to wonder if it could be an infection!. Get it checked out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

tak ibuprofen for the pain and swelling and rinse out 3x a day with salt water!. remember you had oral surgery!. It will take a while for it to heal completely!. especially if you had multiple teeth removed!.

if after a few days of this it doesnt get better go back to the dr!.

feel better!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may have a piece of fragment still stuck in there that happened to me before rinse with some peroxide a few times and it will help it to heal a little and the fragment will hopefully soften and come out!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be infected!. You may have gotten a piece of debris in the socket and it healed over that!. Make an appointment with your dentist to check it out before it gets worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds to me like it's infected!. You should go back to the dentist that removed them and have him double check!. He would probably prescribe another antibiotic for you!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had this procedure done and I was healed way before a full month!.I didn't get dry socket or anything,I was extremely careful!.I'm pretty sure you have an infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
