Whats wrong? PLEASE ANSWER!!! I NEED HELP!?!

Question: Whats wrong!? PLEASE ANSWER!!! I NEED HELP!!?
Last time i was at the dentist i asked about whitening treatments for my teeth and they told me they could give me some bleach!. I'm 15 so they didn't want to give me a real concentrated bleach until i had tried it out so they gave me a ten % solution!. I have one of those clear retainers that cover your teeth instead of the wire ones!. because the bleaching trays are very expensive my dentist told me to just put a little dot of bleach on each tooth imprint on my retainer!. no problem there!. i did that last night!. they only told me to wear it for a couple hours but didnt tell me it would hurt if i slept with the bleach in so i did!. my mom had some bleach to and she slept with it!. after i brushed my teeth this morning they were really sensitive!. idk why!. but i have to drink with a straw now and they are sensitive even with my mouth shut!. my moms teeth are sensitive too but i dont think its because we slept with it overnight!. could it have something to do with the fact that i used my retainer!? why are my teeth so sensitive!? Most bleaches have glycerin in them!. A pretty generic, harmless ingredient, but it is know to overly dehydrate teeth!. When this happens, many people (including me) get very sensitive teeth!. The sensitivity is temporary!. You can take Advil for it!. Let your teeth rest a day or 2 before bleaching again!. The retainer is perfect for bleaching!. Just wear the bleach for a hour or so!. The bleach is not very effective after the first hour or so, but it greatly increases the sensitivity!. When I bleach with that kind of bleach, I had to bleach every 36 hours or so!.!.!. the morning of one day, then the evening of the following day!. This kept my sensitivity manageable (but I still had sensitivity, but at least I could breathe in through my mouth without dying)
Keep bleaching, use a little less bleach, put a little more time between treatments
Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is a normal reaction to bleaching!. The previous answer to use Sensodyne is a good idea!. Another idea (and this is what I prescribe for patients) would be to put Prevident neutral fluoride gel in it and wear that at night (not with the bleach) for densensitization!. You could ask your dentist to prescribe some for you with a phone call!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Call your dentist that gave it to you and ask them for advice!. You probably should not have slept with it on!. Try brushing with toothpaste for sensitive teeth like sensidyn (spelling is probably wrong, sorry)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
