I have a dry socket....pain?!
Question: i have a dry socket!.!.!.!.pain!?
I have a dry socket and the dentist gave me a nerve blocker which i have to put in the hole and dig out with tweezers(which I can't take cause the taste and smell) , and told me to rinse with salty warm water!. It has been almost 2 weeks and I am in sooooo much pain from my lower jaw to my ear!. How long will the pain last!? I have been taking ibprofrin but scared to take it to longWww@Answer-Health@Com

A common home remedy which many people say works is clove oil!.
Take some gauze and soak it in clove oil, and cover the dry socket!.

Taking ib profen with food (key word food) for two weeks isnt going to be too bad for your body!. Although, if you have a dry socket your oral surgeon should have given you a pain killer like codeine or vicodin!. They're much more effective than IB!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
