Getting impacted wisdom teeth extracted?!

Question: Getting impacted wisdom teeth extracted!?
I went to see my dentist for my annual check-up in mid August and found out I have four wisdom teeth!. I am going to be having a lot of college auditions starting mid January, so I want to get them out before that date so they won't bother me in any way!.

The one on the bottom right kind of hurts - when i brush my teeth, it feels sore and i can feel the top of the wisdom tooth right under the gum with my tongue!. But the other three!.!. they are silent!.

Would it be a good idea to get them extracted soon, or get two extracted soon and get the other two a few weeks after the first extraction!? Plus, since they are impacted, will I have to go to the hospital, or just get them done at my dentist's office (although I hope I can go to the hospital for this because I want more safety!.!. I would feel more comfortable there than my dentist's office)!?

OH, and I am not feeling any pain in general!. It's the only bottom right one that's kind of bothersome (especially if I think to myself 'oh man, this one is so annoying')!.!. the other three are fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would recommend getting them extracted!. I had all four wisdom teeth impacted as well, and I never felt any pain while they were in my mouth!. But the longer that you leave them in there the more trouble they will cause, and the roots will continue to grow!.

It also depends on their position!. Example; horizontal impaction may led to displacement of other teeth!.

I got all of mine extracted at once, I think it's best to get it all over with!. I was referred to an Oral Surgeon!. I was able to have it done in the office!. I was given a general anesthetic and nitrous oxide!. The procedure itself was not painful!.

Hope that helped!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your dentist should be sending you to an oral surgeon to get this done!. They do it in the office but put you out to remove them!.
They are specialist in this field so it is perfectly safe!.

When you go in for your consultation they will let you know if it would be better to remove them all at once or 2 at a time!.

If you are getting the procedure done just go ahead and get them all taken out!. My sister got 3 out because her dentist said that the 4th one wouldn't ever bother her!. Her dentist was wrong it started shifting her teeth and hurting!. I waited forever to get mine out because I was freaked out about it, and I got infected wisdom teeth!. SO PAINFUL!. Might as well just get them out sooner rather than later!. Also, don't go to your dentist!. My brother-in-law went to one and the dentist struck a nerve paralyzing his left side of his face for 6 months!. I have heard to never go to your dentist to get your wisdom teeth out!. Wow I never realized how many stories I knew about wisdom teeth!. Ha! Hope I helped and good luck with everything!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go with your dentist's recommendation on whether to have them removed or not!. You're paying him for his expertise - why not take it!? If you want, go to another dentist for a 2nd opinion!.

I can't say if you should have them done before the auditions, or next summer!. A lot depends on how bad they are now!. The link below tells more about this!. You can ask your dentist about how long the swelling will last, and if it will affect whatever you have to do for auditions next month!. Find out now, and deal with the situation when you have solid facts, not guesswork or hearsay from someone who you found on the internet!.

When I had my wisdom teeth removed, they only took 2 of them, and they did it in the orthodontist's office!. I've never heard of anyone having them removed in a hospital!. That seems like overkill - you normally wouldn't need that kind of support for something this minor!.

The actual process wasn't bad at all!. He gave me gas, and I was out!. Half an hour later, they woke me up, and I went home!. Follow the doctor's instructions about how to care for it after, and you should do fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When my teeth were impacted, one was pushing toward my row of teeth, and made my whole mouth hurt!. It hurt to talk, and clench my teeth!.

I had all four removed on the same day!. My parents were still paying for things for me, but I wanted to be asleep during the operation!. It is an operation after all!. I had all four done at once, because I didn't want to worry about coming back, and healing all over again!.

My bf on the other hand went and had all four removed in this big like warehouse that they did dental work in for cheap!. They numbed him!. He said that he heard a loud crunch in his head when they removed the teeth!.

How they do it and how much you pay is up to the orthodontist!. You have to shop your options!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
