well im just wondering why some people have to wear only tiny rubber bands to fix and overbite while others who have an overbite have to wear a big ol' headgear!? and why do some people who wear rubber bands have to wear it around their whole mouth so it looks like you have saliva instead of just in the back!?

Tiny rubber bands correct minor overbite/underbite/crossbite!. Headgear is used for more "serious" cases!. Some people wear rubber bands all around because their bite is misaligned, so each of the rubber bands pull your teeth in different directions!. So if you just had a minor overbite, you'd get rubber bands, and if your bite overall is strange, then rubber bands are placed diffferently around the mouth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
no si but i know people with the rubber bands and i have a niece that had that brace head thing for like 3 weeks!. i think it has to do with the overbite and stuff!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
