I woke up this morning with an extreme irritation in the back of my mouth/throat!. It feels like some sort of lumpish pill shaped thing, kind of a weird feeling!. I can cough and it almost feels like the object is on my tongue but wont go any further out, then once I swallow again it goes back to the back of my mouth/throat!. It refuses to actually be swallowed too, just sitting there in the back of my mouth!. I'm not sure if these are tonsil stones or not, but this is kind of annoying, it almost feels like a sore throat but not really, just more of an irritation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Look inside your mouth at your throat and see if your tonsils are swollen, very red colored or with white patches!. Of course if you have white patches you should see your Physician as you might have Strep throat and sometimes some people have it with just dark red irritated looking tonsils!.
While you are looking, check out the little thing that hangs down in the center back top of your throat!. You know the thing that dangles in your throat!. Is it swollen!? Sometimes if it is swollen it will feel like something is inside your throat and if it is hanging low enough it will feel like you are swallowing it!. If you have been clearing your throat alot or even coughing alot you may have irritated it, and sometimes people swallow something really hot and burn it!.
Try a warm water mild salt water gargle every few hours and see if that helps!. If still having a problem by Monday you might want to see your Physician!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sound like an issue with your tonsils, I had something like that once, my tonsil was so swollen i could actually touch it with my finger without gagging!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
