Elastics on braces...?!

Question: Elastics on braces!.!.!.!?

The elastics in my braces that are supposed to be permanent keep falling off and I don't feel like travelling all the way to my orthodontist again for him to put a new one on, can I replace it with the non-permanent elastics instead!? Can the orthodontist mail elastics!? I know how to put them on myself but I can't find the one that fell out!.

My next appointment isn't for five weeks either :(Www@Answer-Health@Com
