Question: What could be the cause of my son's teeth stains!?
My 10 year old son has yellowish brown stains on his teeth (they look dirty)!. He has good oral hygiene (brushes,flosses,never had a cavity), has never drank soda, and is not on any medication and never has been!. we go to the dentist pretty soon but I would like answers now!. Can you tell if the stain is on the outside or the inside of his teeth (above or below enamel)!?
If it looks like it's below the enamel:
Do you live in an area where the water has a higher level of fluoride!? It could be fluorosis!.!.!. which does not affect the quality of the teeth, but can be a cosmetic concern!.
If it looks like it's on top of the enamel:
A visit to the dental hygienist should remove any extrinsic stains!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it could be caused by smoking, but i don't think your 10 year old son gonna smoke, so why don't you see a dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
