Question: Braces and Retainer Question !?
If you get braces do you need to wear a retainer all your life !?!? if you get them at the age of 12 !? Does it depend how crooked your teeth are!?
Also I have an under bite but i dont think its that bad and my mates mum is a dentist and he told me that he got these rubber bands that he put on his back teeth to pull his jaw back!?!?

No, you don't have to wear a retainer for life when you get braces!. I think when I got my braces off (I was probably 14), I had to wear a retainter for about 3 months!. It's just to make sure your teeth will stay in the place the braces put them!.
